Good & Company Realty was started in 1976 as a small, people-oriented company with one primary focus – its clientele. To this day our focus remains the same, with a staff who reflect our mission of personal attention and clients who appreciate the difference.

Lee Good

Owner-broker, has been active in Nevada County real estate since 1974, a founding owner of Good & Company Realty in 1977. Lee has lived in Nevada County since 1964. Real estate is a hands-on endeavor for her, as it is for all Good & Company Realty brokers.

Nevada County has been Lee’s home since 1964. Her three children still reside in Nevada County, as do her two granddaughters and five grandsons.

Nevada County Association of Realtors committees Lee has served on include Education, Legislative, Multiple Listing, Professional Standards. She was named Realtor Associate of the Year in 1976, Realtor of the Year in 1990, Honorary Member for Life in 2017. She was awarded Emeritus status by the National Association of Realtors in 2016. She earned Certified Commercial Investment Member of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Council in 1985. She’s a lifetime member of Masters Club of the Nevada County Association of Realtors.

Community boards and committees include: Hospice of the Foothills, Sierra Nevada Community Services Council, United Way, Music in the Mountains nominating Committee, and Historic Preservation Committee. She served as a Nevada County Planning Commissioner from 1996-2000.

Sharon Altieri

has been representing Buyers and Sellers in successful marketing, sales, and acquisition of residential and commercial properties In Nevada County – and beyond – since the early 1980s when she and her husband Bob owned and operated Mountain Star Marketing. In the mid 1990’s, Sharon joined the well-respected team at Good & Company Realty. She’s comfortable, knowledgeable, and confident in evaluating a broad spectrum of properties from raw land for new home construction to custom luxury estates to commercial.

Sharon left the nursing field in 1976 to work in the real estate industry. She earned her Broker’s license and is a member of the Master’s Club, top 10% of Nevada County Realtors. She has Certifications in marketing, negotiation, residential appraisal, business opportunity, property management, and property staging. She’s a member of National, California, and Nevada County Association of Realtors, serving on several committees including the Multiple Listing Service and Young Professional networkers. Sharon is a retired Nevada County Master Gardener through the UC Extension, initiating the info booth at the new Farmer’s Market, created 1st edition of gardening in Nevada County and planting the Hwy 49 daffodils to welcome Spring.

Ruth Berdan

has been in sales and marketing since 1983. Her Real Estate career began in 1990 in the Silicon Valley. In 1999 she moved to the Central Coast and in 2003 to Nevada City. She had been visiting this area since 2000 and finally decided this is the place for her.
